A Little History about the Black Ring Social Club
Even though Southeastern Idaho is heavily influenced by the existence of the Mormon Church, there is still a larger than expected presence of alternative adult lifestyles here. Many of these alternative adult lifestyles fall under the umbrella term "Ethical Non-Monogamy" or ENM, as an abbreviation. This site is dedicated primarily to one branch under the ENM umbrella known as "Swinging".
At some point in the past, about 25 years ago, efforts were made to bring the swinging community together in Southeastern Idaho. This resulted in the formation of a group that called itself the "East Idaho Group". This group routinely held Meet & Greets, house parties, campouts, and other events that were well attended and highly regarded.
As time went on, those running the group had reached a point in their personal lives where they needed to move on and turn the group over for someone else to run. As fate would have it, that was shortly after I became a member of the swinging community here and did not want to see this great group of people break up and go by the wayside. So, I decided to take the reigns and see what I could do to continue promoting the swinging lifestyle in Southeastern Idaho.
When I took over the group, I changed the name to give it a bit more flare or panache by naming it the "Black Ring Social Club". However, the one thing I did not change was the fact that the group was founded on and operates on the principle of friendship with like-minded people first and foremost.
The group has had presences on several social media platforms in its existence, such as Adult Friend Finder, Swingular, Kik, and Facebook. Due to the current needs of the community, this group now only resides here on this website. As it stands now, we plan to have 2-4 events a year and will post the details, with Evite links, for those events to the "Events" page of this site.
